Why God Calls man a Serpent

This explanation by Brother Micheal Morin. please and share

This post will give an answer to brothers and sisters who are trying to understand "the seal of our God in the forehead" or "the image of the beast in the forehead" Please share with your beloved ones.

When the Book of Revelation speaks of the "forehead" , as for example, those who worship the beast, receive a mark "IN" the forehead, what is the exact meaning of the used term "forehead" ? The English word "forehead" is generally used to refer to the upper part of the face, above the eyes. The original Hebrew and Greek words of the Holy Scriptures also sometimes use the word that way, but more often use the term "forehead" to describe what is foremost inside the head, not merely on, or a part of, the outside surface. The Bible doesn't just use the term "forehead" to describe what is physically foremost inside the head, but what is consciously foremost inside the head, much more like the term "heart and mind" is used today.

The Hebrew word pronounced may-tsak literally means to be in the clear, or prominently visible, and was sometimes used to refer to the part of the head that was prominent, as in these two examples for Aaron and Goliath, both of which refer to the upper part of their head:

"And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be. And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead [see also Christ's Mitre], that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before The Lord." (Exodus 28:37-38 KJV)

"And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth." (1 Samuel 17:49 KJV)

Along with the literal-meaning examples shown above, may-tsak was also used in a figurative sense, to denote a "hardheadedness" for, or against, God:

"Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed." (Jeremiah 3:3 KJV)

"Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads. As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house" (Ezekiel 3:8-9 KJV)

In the New Testament, the Greek word that is translated as "forehead," pronounced met-oh-pon, means the middle of the head - but is consistently used to refer to the "heart and mind" usage. For example, the 144,000 are made so by the "seal of our God in their foreheads"

"Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel" (Revelation 7:3-4 KJV)

When we look carefully at Revelation, we discover that the Mark of the Beast is not the only thing placed in people’s foreheads. Amazingly, the forehead is mentioned many times apart from the mark. The first time the mark is mentioned is in Revelation 13:16. Three verses later John saw a group called the 144,000 with the “Father’s name written in their foreheads” (Revelation 14:1). This solitary sentence flashes new light on this whole topic.

One group gets the Mark of the Beast while the other group has the name of God in their foreheads. Referring to the saved, the very last chapter of the Bible says, “They shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads” (Revelation 22:4). Therefore, both saints and sinners will all one day have something " IN " their foreheads. Does this mean God’s people will walk around with actual, visible letters written on their foreheads?

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads” (Revelation 13:16). Here the Bible says a mark will be received in the hand or in the forehead. Yet the Bible does not specifically say it will be a “miniature biochip,” or even that it will involve technology at all. These modern words, “computer,” “biochip,” “verichip,” “technology,” “bar code,” and “scanner,” do not appear in Revelation. People just assume it will happen this way.

First, let me pinpoint that the true translation from the Book of Revelation, when it is spoken of the forehead, says that the mark is located "IN" the forehead, not "ON"! Then, this has a greater meaning, because it is a deep revelation by itself. In the Book of Daniel, it is said that at the time of the end the knowledge shall be increased. This can be understood from both the natural and spiritual meaning.

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Daniel 12.4

Now, we are all aware that knowledge belongs only to humanity i.e. : human brain. I would like to pinpoint something interesting about the human brain : We are in 2012 Let’s review what Neuroscientific research has discovered about the human brain.

NeuroScience admits that the knowledge of good and evil is an exclusive feature of the human brain, located in the Frontal Lobe of brain anatomy.

Scientists call the frontal lobes of our brain “superstructures above all other parts of the cerebral cortex so that they perform a more universal function of general regulation of behavior.”

Source http://psych.colorado.edu/~kimlab/ThompsonSchill.CONB.pdf

The prefrontal cortex (PFC) is the anterior part of the frontal lobes of the brain, lying in front of the motor and premotor areas. This brain region has been implicated in planning complex cognitive behaviors, personality expression, decision making and moderating correct social behavior. The basic activity of this brain region is considered to be orchestration of thoughts and actions in accordance with internal goals. Source Wikipedia: Prefrontal cortex

NeuroScientists point out the frontal lobes are important for self-control. They can prove that loss of large portions of the frontal lobes is associated with violent emotional outbursts and changes of character. Today, NeuroScientists say: The frontal lobes look after planning, organizing, reasoning, and decision-making, judgement and the emotions. The activity of the Front-Brain determines what will control us, truth or error, good or evil. For example, if you lie to someone, cheat or hide assets in order to avoid taxes, or enforce the speed limits, that's where decision making is done. Decision making about good or evil is called “the tree of knowledge of the good and evil”. The Revelation Book calls it, the forehead, or "the "IN" the forefront, of the Revelation Book. Remember, this tree was in the Garden of Eden and that tree was the ancient serpent.

The “ knowledge ” of good and evil is found in Genesis 2:17

“But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

The Bible doesn’t talk about a tree which bears fruit that acts like a brain-boosting drug that would improve mental abilities or increase the human intelligence or knowledge. The Bible says that the ancient serpent had the same reasoning faculty of today’s mankind. Now, many biblical scholars agree that this animal being was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden. The ancient serpent had that reasoning faculty ! This is supported in 2 Corinthians 11:3 “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” (KJV)

What the human prefrontal cortex, executive functions, the human mind, the reasoning faculty, and the ancient (or old) serpent, share in common ?

The tree of knowledge of good and evilThe answer, is " The tree of knowledge of good and evil". The reasoning faculty of mankind, is the tree of the knowledge of the good and evil. The reasoning faculty was the forbidden tree, in the Garden of Eden. The reasoning faculty is a genetic tree. The Bible says that this tree of the knowledge of good and evil, through his subtlety, is Satan’s Deception, the devil, which also means Spiritual Darkness or Spiritual Death.

Now you say…Wait a minute!.. Brother Michael, do you state that the reasoning faculty of today’s mankind has been inherited from the ancient serpent who was in the Garden of Eden ?

I say YES !

I testify that the old serpent still exist, that the ancient serpent lives on earth today, because all mankind has inherited this genetic human faculty of reason or rationality. This old serpent, is our own " flesh and blood ", and when the Bible says that believers must " overcome ", then we understand, that believers must overcome their own " flesh and blood ", their own human mind.

We are all aware that the spiritual battleground is " IN " the forehead. This is supported in Revelation 12:9 “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him”

Then, why, oh why, the Bible is talking about a snake? The answer is understanding God’s curse upon that being, that pre-adamic man, who lived in the Garden with Adam and Eve, the one who was more crafty than any other beast on earth.

Now, from God’s viewpoint, words have different meanings. God is Spirit. Do the following words should really be interpreted literally ?

“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16 KJV

“For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.” Acts 20:29 KJV

Thus we agree that the words “sheep, wolves, serpents and doves” are symbolic words which express deeper aspects of someone’s personality or particular behavior. Now, let’s talk about the serpent.

In the days of Jesus, being called a snake was not a compliment. The archetypal significance of the snake symbolizes evil as well as positive and spiritual aspects. If Jesus would compare someone to a snake or a serpent, then what would he mean ?

Among all living beings, there is probably no creature that has its heart, as much closer to surface of the earth, as the snake or serpent. Spiritually, the significance would be a being feeding himself from dust or merely in the pursuit of earthly things. i.e : Sinner, total spiritual blindness.

Remember the children of Israel in the desert when they began criticizing God, when they started criticizing Moses. That's what the Bible says there in Numbers 21:6. It says, then the snakes came. Once the children of Israel were bitten, once they were dying they began to confess their great sin. Then the people came to Moses and said, "We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us." So Moses prayed for the people. All Israel were apparently snake bitten and they were all facing death. Notice God's solution: Numbers 21:8 "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live."

Where did Moses place that pole? In the Tabernacle? No. Outdoors in public view so that everybody could see. Just so Jesus was publicly executed on the cross. What saved the people? They were saved by looking at the snake on Mose's pole. How did they overcome? They overcame by looking at a serpent on Mose's pole.

So that is why the Bible compares Jesus to that bronze serpent on that pole. That's unique ... Isn't that what you think of when you think of the old serpent.

I admire the symbolism of Jesus. He is called by 210 different names in the Bible. That's a lot, isn't it. He is a Rock, He is a Rose, He is a Lion, He is a Lamb, He is a Lilly, He is a Vine, and of all things. On the cross’ He is a Serpent, an ancient serpent.

Out of all of God's creation, only two trees were given special names - the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. So, the ancient serpent means the tree of knowledge of good and evil and Christ means the tree of Life. "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God." Revelation 2:7

The Scriptures reveal in this text that there is a Tree of Life. Now, what has to be overcome to be granted of eating the tree of Life ? “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:15 KJV

Now let's get back to the mark in the forehead. Where is the link between the old serpent, Satan and “the forehead” in the book of Revelation ? The Revelation book says that the forehead receives a mark and the old serpent is cast out into the earth. Revelation14:9-10 says that any man worshipping the beast and his image, receives his mark in his forehead

Majority of biblical scholars agree that the word forehead, means Thinking, nderstanding, Teaching or Doctrine. God is talking about a mark in the forehead “the reasoning faculty of man” A MARK RELATED TO A DOCTRINAL STATEMENT OR A RELIGIOUS BELIEF !

I found in Wikipedia a description for Belief : @Religious belief is a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny. Such a state may relate to the existence, characteristics and worship of a deity or deities, divine intervention in the universe and human life, or values and practices centered on the teachings of a spiritual leader. "

Religious beliefs are usually codified and deal with both ideas and religious behaviour. Religious belief can be seen as a focus exclusively on ideas or a doctrine. Bible says that we are saved through Faith in Jesus, our heavenly Father made Flesh. Faith has nothing to do with religious beliefs from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. A mark in the hand means also that those who share the same religious beliefs, are reunited in a brotherhood or religious organization.

Now, what is the religious belief shared by most of christian organizations ? The clue is the mark itself which is a human number: 666

God has provided the 666 number as a clue, which means that it must be explained in all the languages of the world. It must be understood by all the Chinese dialects, Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Hindi-Urdu, Burmese, Thai, Hebrew and so on.

"Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six." Revelation 13:16 American Standard Version

Now, currently up to date, many explanations are found with the Latin language used in the Roman Empire. When numerised, the words Vicarius Filii Dei produces the total of 666. But, this can’t be understood by people with foreign language characters such as Chinese pictograms. Remember, God builds His Church from Revelation. Even those who can't read or write, must understand the mark of the Beast, and be able to calculate the 666 number. This is the thruth!

“He that hath understanding, let him count the number 666” It is a religious belief ! From the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It’s a doctrinal statement!

The mark in the forehead is a doctrine ... 600 + 60 + 6, “and these three are one.” The Bible says that the mark is “in” the forehead, not “on” the forehead. “and these three are one.” Now, what is the religious belief shared by most of christian organizations ? On which doctrine they are in agreement even with the Roman Catholic Church ?

The Trinity Doctrine

1 John 5:7 KJV The words “…in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Spirit, and these three are one”, are in fact an apocryphal addition to the original text. The Catholic version of the Bible, said in a note that these words are absent in the original Greek versions. The apocryphal addition is missing in all the earlier Greek manuscripts, for it is found in no Greek manuscript written before the 16th century.

The mark of the Beast is an apocryphal addition to the original text of the Word of God! For it is found in no Greek manuscript written before the 16th century ! “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” 1 John 5:7-8 KJV

All other translations do not have the words " the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." ; Apart from the King James translation. Translators agree that the last part of this verse was added in later and is actually a footnote in the Textus Receptus, the Greek text that the King James Bible was translated from. Now this same verse in the NIV for example simply says the following: “For there are three that testify”

Trinitarians use John 14:28 “the Father is Greater than I" to refer Jesus’ position in relation to the first person of the Trinity. This interpretation doesn’t stand when you understand this verse from a spiritual viewpoint. Reading John 17:20-23, Jesus says ”That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us..” God is One Spirit. The Spirit of God is in Jesus, the firstborn Son.

Now, I testify from the Spirit of the Lord, that no man who worship the Triune God, can be born again.

Be blessed

Brother Michael
